This slide path is one of the usual suspects. It slides across the road at least once most winters.
The debris spills over the road and ends up in this steep gully. This is a nasty "terrain trap" where you definitely would not want to get buried.
The slide path is not that obvious. People cross right underneath it without even knowing it exists.
