- <p>Lots of cracking and collapsing. Not quite enough of a slab yet though snowpack is showing its hand. I observed lots of riders sticking to slopes less than 30 degrees - yeah! </p>

- <p>Weak facets plague the shallow snow pack. This storm did not drop enough weight to clean anything out to the ground. These facets will be well preserved for a while. </p>
Soft new snow added necessary depth to shallow pack. Low angle rode well though rocks and downed trees still an issue. Somewhat droppy due to faceted weak snow below degrading crust.
