There is lots of wildlife in the Wood Camp Area. I chose to give Mr. Moose lots of respectful space.
Access is good and there's pretty good coverage at lower elevations. The snow keeps you off the rocks for the most part, but it's still pretty bushy and you can see the terrain roughness under the snow.
Snowpack
Snow at lower elevations was damp in the sun and crusty after it went into the shade. Nice in the shade, but getting a bit sugary.
