Quick report
- Collapsing
- isolated
The low and middle elevations have widespread weak snow. Areas, where the wind has loaded a slab on this these surfaces, will remain sensitive and should be cautiously assessed moving forward. A separate avalanche occurred on a NE aspect outside of the Snow King boundary on the same day. Any steep terrain, regardless of elevation, requires careful and mindful assessment, particularly as temps trend warmer and with more incoming snowfall ahead.

Snowpack
Frequent collapses were noted on the ascent. Variable pack (obviously this can be noted by the stripping to the ground and rocks vs heavily loaded and wind-scalloped areas), ranging from straight-up faceted snow to faceted snow capped with a hefty wind slab.
