Quick report
We used sleds to access slopes of upper Portage Glacier and Spencer Glacier. Skied NE slopes between 3800'-6500'. No red flags observed from skiing and sledding activities. About 20 people riding in the area today. A separate party dug several pits on a NE at 4100' - unsure of their stability test results. They observed the valentines surface hoar layer between 4-5 feet deep. There were several large natural avalanches in the area, which appeared to release during/after the recent storm. One near Isthmus appeared to be triggered by cornice fall.
