Quick report
Beautiful day up on the the ridge above Nordic Valley. Winds were calm to nonexistent. The new snow is sitting on top of a supportable crust that is hard to even get a shovel into. I didn't notice any shooting cracks like I did Friday and overall skiing is really good. I found surface hoar on most aspects except for the most southerly ones. It was also developing very high up on the ridges due to very low winds recently. The hard crust and developing facets will definitely be a concern once we get a loading event.
