Quick report

Traversed into Canal St. From the Skyline lift. Along the cliffs at the top, a ski cut released the top 3" of snow down a small gully .

Avalanche

Was able to trigger very small loose dry avalanches on steep slopes. Running ~150". Big enough to move someone a short distance but not nearly enough to bury a person. Only the top 3" was moving. I think there was some graupel during the last round of precip, creating a weak layer that allowed snow to run easily.
