Quick report

Red Flags
Recent Avalanches, Wind Loading, Collapsing, Rapid Warming

Went for a long walk up Bowman fork to yellow jacket trees. Widespread rollerball activity was observed below 8k' and the snow surface was damp up to 9300'. We felt a couple small collapses on the ridge between yellow jacket and Alexander basin. Winds on the ridge were cranking out of the east around noon and moderate snow transport was happening.

photo 1 is looking north and shows the east to west wind and snow transport.
