Quick report
We made conservative route and terrain decisions attempting to avoid the persistent slab dragon... We to stayed on lower angle slopes and enjoyed a tour of Canyon Creek. We did not observe any obvious signs of instability, and noted loose snow sluffing on many turns throughout our tour. The loose snow was not enough to cause alarm to a skier. Hand pits (to the crust) showed no signs on slab formation above the crust. I did poke around (jumped, poked, etc) below a ridgeline that may have been wind loaded, and noted no feedback from the snowpack there, either... Also, it did snow (albeit light and on-and-off) throughout the day, rejoice! No signs of instability. We did observe the large (Glide?) avalanche on Dorthy that has been documented by other observers.
