Quick report
Keeping tabs on the thaw:
- Cloud cover lingered longer than anticipated and slowed the wet loose cycle
- Steep solar slopes produced rollerballs and small (D1) wet loose activity
- Surface snow at 5000' rapidly transitioned to moist with just a couple of minutes of sunshine
- By 2pm the top 2-4 inches transitioned to moist in the shade
- Could easily initiate rollerballs by throwing a snowball at steep slopes
D1 wet loose on steep solar slopes.
