Quick report

Dug a pit SW facing at 10,300' near top of Dav Hill. 25 degree slope. Result of ECT was ECTP9 breaking on crust 30cm down. That crust was atop about 5cm of facets. Below those facets, finger hard all the way to the ground. 110cm deep in total. We were just poking around today, but safe to say that southern half of the compass is generally very thin, with pockets of deeper snow here and there depending on aspect and deposit. Spatial variability in effect and this next storm is likely to set things off.
