Quick report
Found 8-12 inches of new snow near valley floors that became 20-22 inches on top of the glacier at 5000'. New storm snow has settled a little bit since yesterday with some cohesion present in the morning. As skies cleared warm temps were quickly adding cohesion to the upper snowpack.
Pit results @4960'/ENE produced Moderate ECTN scores within the storm snow and ECTN22 down 55 cms at the 2/16 new interface. BSH was not identified in this location.
D1 was observed on a SE aspect @ 3200'. Slide was either natural or remotely triggered. Crown was 20-30 cms deep and ~150' wide. Failed on 1-2mm BSH that was on an old melt freeze crust.Weather
