Quick report
On the approach, we saw a few small slab avalanches on different aspects and lots of point releases on sunny aspects. We dug a pit at 4000 ft ECTX I had to use a fair amount of force with a shovel sheer to pop the facet layer. There was a slight breeze out of the NE. The skiing was good at higher elevations. There was a sun crust on the lower elevation terrain.
