- <p>The only thing of note I found today was small, dry loose avalanching on steep north facing slopes. Greater than 35 degrees. The snow was fast moving and would run long distances. </p>
Surface conditions on solar aspects ranged from a breakable crust, to wind scoured and very firm, to bare ground and rock in some places. Lots of frozen tracks. Conditions on polar aspects were wind affected up high with faceted/recycled powder in sheltered terrain.
