Quick report
We went to sniff out a little powder skiing and found some protected hero snow. No obvious signs of instability aside from a propagating result on the 1/1 interface (45cm down) in a quick pit at 8500’ on a NW aspect (photo). This unexpected result kept us off of steeper slopes during our tour. We also observed wind effect along ridge lines and settlement cones around every tree. Beauty of a day out!
