Hoodoo Pass

We found quite variable snow depths all around the hoodoo pass area. We found areas of around 12in (30 cm) ranging all the way to 105cm. Experienced some very isolated hollow collapsing which I guessed was due to shallow snowpack on vegetation. Saw lots of wind scouring on W to SW aspects except for right below the ridge line where the snow had settled before the trees and was very deep. Dug a quick pit at 6500, sw aspect, 105 cm deep. There were no real consolidated layers, 4 finger hardness throughout most of the snowpack with a slight wind buff on the top, just under 10 cm of new, light snow. Most areas were significantly thinner than this one though!
