My partner and I found abundant unconsolidated new snow that was showing evidence of slab formation. We attempted to locate buried surface hoar, but were unsuccessful in several sheltered locations on E and NE aspects.

Periods of flurries followed by broken skies. Light W winds at ridgetop.
Snowpack
The 2/14 interface was observed down 35-45cms and the 2/8 interface down 50-60cms from the surface. The upper 1m of the snowpack is mostly F to 4F.
