Debris was 15'-20' deep x 100' wide made up of wet snow. This path was called "Fallen Arches" and may have started as dry snow, but was wet by the time it hit the road. Located approximately 1/2 mile from the mouth of the canyon. The debris hit the creek and dammed it which stopped it from hitting the highway.
Similar time frame, Slide Canyon debris stopped 150' from the highway, but powder cloud crossed the road.
