Washington Gulch

Surface hoar growth on shady, low elevation slopes. Patchy and thin snowpack below treeline. 

3 to 5 mm surface hoar along the road on shady features.  Snowpack is melting back to ground on steep BTL terrain on the south half of the compass. The recent snow (3" to 5") is faceting on the north half.
