- <p>This last storm added some much needed snow to the lower elevations around timp and provided excellent riding conditions.I dug a pit on a 35 degree, north facing slope at 8500 ft and had an unreactive ECT. There is a graupel layer at 45 cm down that I would be most worried about in wind loaded areas and along ridge lines. This layer was unreactive in my pits and I could not get it to propagate. </p>
