No red flags again. There is now more snow availible for transport with wind now. But not as much snow up Monte as I had hoped. I belive a lot of it blew away.

Went riding up Monte Cristo today. We want out Curtis Creek road to Arb basin. There is still very minimal snow in most places. I do not think there is enough snow in most areas to create avalanche conditions. Up in the higher elevation meadows there is still not enough snow for riding. A lot of the snow we got last week has now blown away! I was unable to find much for avalanche problems today but it was snowing when we left. 2 inches while we were riding.

Just some photos of current snow cover on Hardware ranch in the sun than up the Curtis Creek rd in the snow.

Instability Comment

I am going with normal caution for what I observed today. Old winddrifts were very stubborn even with the weight of snowmachine.

This snow that fell today was much heavier than the snow on the ground. There is a mixed bag of powder, wind buff, and grass out there right now.
