Snowpack
Not much to report. The most notable observation was that previously wind-affected surfaces are becoming more faceted, as are refrozen old tracks on northerly slopes. The near-surface faceting is reaching deeper into the snowpack. While it hasn't been excessively cold, it's been cold enough for a sustained duration under clear skies. Faceting is reaching deep enough into the snowpack—6-9 inches in places—that we should expect, whenever the snow comes, that a persistent problem will persist later into the season than usual.
Other than that, the "usual" from the past week: grab bag of surfaces, depending on aspect, slope angle, and elevation. Solars are developing more aggressively variable surfaces.
