Snowpack
Sun crusts on south and west aspects were slightly stronger than Saturday with variable pockets in trees and shade. North and northwest aspects on Chair 11 moraine had a softer but mostly supportive base. Relatively fast skiing for the low angle and easy to see any lurking rocks. Low angle north facing trees had a variable base with firmer areas where a lot of heavy "snow bombs" had fallen from tree limbs. Looks like we may have been the first to use the exit route connecting to the lower meadow this year, but there wasn't too much log-stepping to be done.
