Snowpack

Below 9,000' there are widespread facets on north aspects and facet/ crusts on solars. Above 10,000' we experienced facets, crusts and supportable and unsupportable wind slab. Our structure is thin and weak overall.

Small, sluggish wind slab that had formed in the few hours prior to triggering. Skier triggered it from below while crossing the slope and was easily able to ski off of the slab.
