- <p>Significant wind loading near ridge tops was noted this afternoon with some collapsing atop the ridge line. Observed wind loading from the previous night and this morning below a ridge I had climbed late afternoon yesterday which had started to firm up a bit; some surface cracking visible but no audible or physical collapses observed. Cornices on ridge top were pretty soft but were growing larger and stiffer pretty rapidly. I would not ski same upper elevation terrain I did yesterday and today tomorrow. </p>

- <p>Near ridge tops both on windward and leeward sides.</p> <p>Some sloughing on steeper terrain but for the most part new snow still really light and did not pick up speed or start to form soft slabs/entrainment of other snow. </p>
About 6-8" of light new snow since yesterday evening.
