Quick report

On our skin up, we noticed many different snow textures depending on aspect, elevation and exposure. In particular, on east/southeast aspects and open areas where the sun has affected the snow we noticed a firm crust. In contrast, northern aspects and more sheltered areas still hold soft snow, At the top of Big Jay we dug a pit to a depth of 100cm and observed a generally right side up snowpack with fist hardness over 4F over 1F. The overall depth of the snowpack in this area exceeded 260cm.
