Quick report
Arrived at the base of Hillmans around 730 am. It had just snowed heavily but started to taper off. Dug hand pits at around 4300 and 4800 ft. Below the new snow was still crusty but snow seemed to be bonded and stable. Just before 5000ft I felt that the risk of a slide would increase so I transitioned. After making a few turns my sluff caused a slide with debris extending a good portion down the center of Hillmans. No other skiers in the area and was able to continue skiers right with limited additional instability in the snow.
Avalanche
Sluff from skiing at around 4800ft cause a slide down the center of Hillmans. Large enough to carry somebody if caught but not likely deep enough to bury.
