Findley Junction

A cold and calm morning with 4-5" of low density overnight snowfall. NE winds increased in the afternoon and could be seen moving snow across distant terrain features. I went to two previously wind loaded areas about a mile apart from each other and got nearly identical unstable results. Failures occured +3ft down from the surface on a buried rain crust. Some early stage faceting was observed just above the crust.
