Observation: Garden City Bowls

Found large cornices on top of GC Bowls today. Dug into the snow from a collapsed cornice and found an ice crust layer at 130cm and was 5cm thick. New snow accumulation from the past few days on top of this. By the time we left at 4pm, the snow was noticeably more wet and was melting in the parking lot. Great riding conditions, especially earlier in the day.
