Warm temps and STRONG winds in sheltered areas wiped out most/all of the surface hoar that I saw Wednesday. The near surface facets were still present, and should still be a problem, but hopefully they got beat up a bit as well. I saw several small wind slabs building and releasing deep in the sheltered bottom of Cutler basin. Attached photo of a skier triggered pencil hard slab - apologies for the sloppy annotation, I’m in the car.
