Quick report
- Cracking
- isolated
We skied twice on the shoulder of Sunburst from approx 3400'. There was some localized cracking around ours skis near ridgelines, where firm windslabs were present. Standing on windlips and cornices produced small breakable slabs which would slide underneath the skiers weight, but were the snow characteristics changed to soft creamy powder once away from the ridgeline. No other red flags.
