SCT high clouds - OVC. Max temp 21/11 deg. NW > W winds 20 G 40. Snow started at 1500.
Snowpack
Overnight winds did some damage on W terrain scouring ATL down to old packer tracks. Numerous cross loaded wind slabs on W aspects NTL approaching hard slab density but not quite there. In general, stubborn with the exception of PH R apron which was triggered by poking the slab with my ski pole. Isolated reactive shallow wind slabs on E aspects near ridge lines.
