Quick report
No signs of instability, skied very dry with 19” overnight. The snowpack varied in depth with terrain probably from wind during the storm. Some areas had 3-4 ft new while others had a few inches. This made for a variable skin track - at times waist deep+ kick turns into shallow 2”. All aspects felt and skied the same. Periods of full sunshine had little affect on the top layers. Still low tide with a few sharks or trees lurking just inches under the snowpack - keep it coming!
Avalanche
Lots of naturals during the 1/5 storm. No evidence of any avalanches except 5 minute trees - looked like a skier triggered slab on a steep rollover, unsure of the outcome looks like they skied out.
