Quick report
Smooth, warm, and creamy snow was found in open areas. In the trees, snow falling from trees and dripping water made the surface more rugged and less enjoyable. I observed natural wet loose avalanches off of cliffs and triggered several on steep rollovers while skiing.
As the fog dissipated in the afternoon and the sun was able to warm the snow, it became very easy to trigger wet loose avalanches. I triggered many small wet loose avalanches on short steep slopes.Weather

Overcast skies with dense low fog. Occasional light snow showers. In the afternoon the fog dissipated. The wind was light with moderate gusts out of the West.
Snowpack
I observed a stable snowpack, layered with storm snow and melt-freeze crusts. There was a weak "crust sandwich" in the upper foot of the snowpack. It failed in compression tests but did not propagate in extended column tests. There was a rain crust from 3/29 up to 5000'.
