East St. Mary's Ridge

Throughout the day there was lots of precipitation and at times potentially +1 cm per hour. Visibility was poor, and there is lots of new snow. Around noon, over a 4 minute time-period, we heard 3 avalanches as they ran over cliffs in the basin adjacent to us. We could not see them however. There also appeared to be some intense green-house effect through the clouds.
