Quick report

We hiked up to a high point for some views of the Sawtooth Range during the lovely Saturday weather and grabbed some conditions photos. We found 4-8" of old wet snow on shaded slopes above 7500' and mostly melted-out solar slopes. Alpine areas above 9000' are generally holding more snow... but not enough that I'd consider skiing just yet! Moderate to strong winds blew with consistent rainfall overnight on Saturday and throughout Sunday morning before clearing out midday. The rain line appeared to be around 9700'. We also noted dramatic amounts of weekend snowmelt throughout the Boulders when compared to our drive over Galena Summit on Friday.
