Stonewall
Quick report
Toured up on Stonewall Saturday. The sun was strong, but the breeze kept things cool for the majority of the day. Late afternoon things warmed up quite a bit. Snow on North, ENE slopes remained cool and dry for the majority of the day. Skied on ENE slopes. There was a stout crust with new snow of 2-4 inches, relatively well bonded at the time, or as long as things stayed cool. There was a good window of corn on south/west aspects. East faces did not get enough snow to crust for the base for corn, but that might have changed Saturday. We kicked a small wet slide on our exit that ran for about 10ft on our exit. No one was near the slide, but had anyone been caught in it, it would have carried them due to the weight of the snow.
