I traveled through miles of untouched snow and experienced no cracking or collapsing.

Clear skies and calm to light winds all day. Day started with a strong inversion (-19 F when I left the car), which I quickly climbed out of. Snow surfaces were just starting to melt as I walked across the moraine in the mid morning (0930-1000). There is no SAFT left on solars, but plenty of loose snow on shaded aspects if the wind switched to N and started honking.
Snowpack
We're firmly in weak layer formation mode currently.. Another coat of SH formed overnight. Snow surfaces are weakening on most slopes, with some aggressive faceting underneath the level of the inversion (expecting even low elevation surfaces to be touchy with a significant load). Crusts with facets exist on all slopes with a solar tilt. These are breakable on all but the steepest, most direct solars. Our newest weak layer is being born...

Continuing to observe the aftermath of last week's storms and avalanche cycles. It is clear that the Sawtooths produced numerous large persistent slabs during loading. The activity appears to have occurred on more recent weak layers (2/1 and 2/24) and older weak layers (1/6).
