Quick report

Fluctuating freezing levels, snowing below 1,400ft at 12pm rising to 2,500ft at 2:30pm. Snowing heavily with no wind most of the time we were out. No signs of recent avalanches or instability, visibility was very limited. At 5,000ft on a NW slope there was 110cm of snow. 20cm of dry snow sat on top of 20cm of moist snow. Things are starting to fill in, but there are still plenty of trees, rocks, creeks and water bars that are just barely hidden hazards.
