Quick report
Rain or Sun crust down about 3" in the Mitchell Trees area and on the surface along Vista Ridge up to our high point of ~6200 ft. Crust was about 1" thick and breakable. Below the crust was ~24-30" of new snow before the next crust. Did not dig a pit; just probed with ski poles. No cracking or collapsing noted in the snow above the crust during our tour.
