Quick report
Went up to do some beacon practice at the Yodelin base area and then take a lap up to the ridgeline above. Recent snow was cold and dry. Obvious signs of the drought crust, with the top layer of the new snow already forming a little crust on top of that, making for a layering of old crust, few inches of powdery snow, then new crust on top. No signs of any instability or anything concerning. Travel was doable with just skins, but we had a few moments where we pondered throwing on our ski crampons.
