Quick report
I found moist, heavy snow surfaces and sticky skiing during my outing. Wet loose avalanches appeared to have been more active the previous day, which started out with dry(er)snow at mid elevations and then initially got wet.
Rollerballs and small (D1) avalanches in steep terrain that mainly occurs the previous day- mostly triggered by tree bombs and initiated around rocks.Weather

Freezing lines varied constantly, and the recent snow ending on 2/2 finished with warmer temperatures and small amounts of rain. Minimal wind transport at mid elevations lately.
Snowpack
A thin surface crust had formed overnight on all surfaces, but softened very quickly in the morning. Subsequently, snow surfaces were moist and heavy everywhere. Runnels were visible on all smooth surfaces.
I dug a pit on a north- facing aspect at 5600'. All layers were moist, and I didn't find any weaknesses in the upper layers.
On small steep test slopes, the wet layer was stubborn and didn't slide or rollerball much. If I'd been around thinner snow over rocks or steeper terrain, I wouldn't be surprised if I could have gotten more snow to slide.
Avalanche
Small wet loose avalanches from the previous day. No new ones seen today.
