Snowpack
I dug around different aspects from east to south near treeline and found intact persistent weak layers that have been on our radar for wet slab concerns. The surface melt was concentrated to the upper 5-10cm and had only started to percolate through the recent slab formed last week. Further down in the snowpack, the 3/13 and 3/3 layers could be more of a concern if they get fully wet and lose cohesion. ECTs had non-propaging result or nothing.
Avalanche
There was a fresh cornice fall avalanche off the main ridge.
