Quick report

Road is open until the gate 1.5 miles from the Cascade Pass Trailhead. Continuous snow starts about a half mile from the Cascade Pass trailhead. Cascade Pass is covered in a large amount of avalanche debris but is still skinnable. Lots of evidence of large wet loose slides during the rain events over the last few weeks. We skinned up Sahale Arm and transitioned below the summit block around noon which was perfect timing for corn skiing. Some wet loose sluff, rollerballs and pinwheels on the decent. The standard route up the summit block has a cornice over it.

Avalanche

Large wet loose avalanche debris at Cascade Pass. Watched and heard a couple of wet loose avalanches on the Triplets and Mixup Peak throughout the day as it warmed up.
