Quick report
Conditions were consistent with expectations: light dry snow on top of the 2/13 crust. Almost no wind effect, even at ridgelines on north facing aspects. Felt the 2/13 crust on turns made on south aspect (descent into the Morse Creek drainage/Sourdough bowl from Joe's Shoulder), but 2/13 was much deeper on the north aspects throughout the basin. It started snowing quite hard at about 2:00 p.m., with slightly more wind, coming from the north, upon returning to Joe's Shoulder at about 3:30 p.m. Hand pits revealed no consolidating over 2/13 crust. Overall impression of stability is that it was quite stable.
