Quick report
Toured up to Red Cone at about 10am Sunday Jan 7th, mild winds down low but could see snow blowing over ridges. No signs of instabilities touring up, but could clearly see how the wind affected Red Cone bowl. From the top down on the North facing slope - snow was stripped down to the rocks, then from the naked eye it looked like sastrugi-like texture before the snow turned smoother but still very ripple-y all the way down toward the lower rocks and trees. We could also see debris from the human triggered slide a few days ago. Did not witness any shooting cracks or instabilities while riding in the trees back down to George, there was over a foot of fresh and fluffy pow.
