This was a natural avalanche that most likely released after a skiff of new snow and some windy conditions. It's a small pocket but it's important because it seems like a good indicator of things to come. The thinking is that if a skiff of snow and a puff of wind caused this little pocket to pop out, consider what will happen with a more significant amount of new snow.
