Quick report

Upper elevations appeared strongly wind-affected, with limited loose snow remaining near and above 5,000 ft.

Below 4,500 ft, there was snow available for transport; however, the overall snowpack remained shallow and discontinuous, and much of the available snow was effectively trapped in exposed trees and shrubs.

No signs of instability were observed . Across the terrain visible in Burt and Ammo, snow coverage appeared thin and early-season, with no continuous snowfields that looked capable of producing an avalanche.

Any hazard would most likely be confined to small, isolated areas of loose dry snow behind protected terrain features generally limited distribution given the shallow snowpack and anchoring by vegetation.

No signs of instability were observed. Across the terrain visible in Burt and Ammo, snow coverage appeared thin and early-season, with no continuous snowfields that looked capable of producing an avalanche. No formal stability tests were conducted with limited suitable snow structure/continuity for meaningful test results
