- <p>We did not have good vis for avalanche viewing. I have to hyoithosise that there wre some point release avalanches in steeper terrain. We did not see snow being transported by wind today but we did see recent wind drifts that formed last night. In the snowpit we were able to isolate a change in the new snow density and also faliure on the facets under the rime layer from late january. </p>

- <p>We did not find any active wind slabs today. We did see some new drifts but not much blowing snow today.</p> <p>The new snow was very loose snow. Loose snow avalanches will be prominent tomorrow in steep terrain. With settlement or heavier snow there may be more slab formation tomorrow. </p>
New snow did not bond well with the old snow surface (melt freeze crust). Due to visibility we did not observe any natural avalanches. The new snow was not forming a slab.
