Quick report

Main observation was effect of recent winds. Ruined the snow quality on any exposed slopes. Inverted ski tracks show where winds have stripped snow away and left just the packed snow from ski tracks.

I looked at a slide in a run called Old Reliable on a north aspect of Mt. Wolverine. It was triggered yesterday and was a hard slab of wind deposited snow. Not very big.

I did a tests in a drift below that slide and got the wind slab. ECTP13 (the extended column cracked under my shovel and propagated across the whole column after 13 taps).

Above 9500 feet on sheltered slopes there is still soft dry powder (second to last photo)

Last photo is of Mt. Tuscarora showing wind effects.
